Fresh ice frequently captures fascinating patterns in and under its surface. Here, water collected on a frozen lake, its surface skimming over above the ice. In places, the water drained away, leaving voids and patterns on several surfaces. A few days later, the surface thawed and the patterns were lost, but for here. From 35mm negative.
