Presenting an impressive stretch of rapids, the lower portion of Dave Falls is nested within a rock formation consisting of pink and gray granite and other metamorphosed volcanic rock. Flowing through the rocks is the Pike River, one of Wisconsin’s designated “Wild Rivers.” The Pike is a trout stream as well as a popular canoe and kayaking destination. From 4x5 transparency.
