This view of Long Slide Falls, north of Pembine, WI, emphasizes the water flow over the volcanic rocks that underlie this site. Carved by the North Branch of the Pemebonwon River, this is the tallest waterfall in Marinette County. Less than a half mile upstream is Smalley Falls, another picturesque waterfall in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. From 4x5 transparency.
