Sandstone walls and boulders studded with quartzite pebbles rest on bedrock over 500 million years old in Parfrey's Glen. Carved by water over thousands of years, the walls are covered with moss and lichen, while ferns grace the ledges and canyon floor. Parfrey's Glen, just north of Merrimac, Wisconsin, is an ideal place to examine the beauty of the Baraboo Hills and the rocks beneath them. From 35mm negative.
