Crystalline structures, stars and planets, flying creatures, all are envisioned in the Inner Space series. These photographs were made using a macro lens, polarizing filter, and natural and reflected sunlight. The results appear to reveal a bounty of intergalactic phenomena, rather than the mundane surface trod by anglers every winter. The colors are a function of the polarizing filter, blue skies, long winter rays, and the film's color gamut. As seen in the ice on the surface of a lake, highlighted by reflected sunlight - not manipulated. As seen in the ice on the surface of a lake, not manipulated. From 35mm transparency.
