Each winter, Bald Eagles (
Haliaeetus leucoephalus) from along the Wisconsin River gather in Sauk Prairie. They fish in the open water below the hydropower dam and perch in the trees along the river when resting. This Eagle was photographed on a frosty January morning. From 35mm negative.
