Item#/SKU: p174
This pretty flower is best seen from ground level. The Nodding Trillium (Trillium cernuum) is so named because the flower droops below the plant's three leaves, nodding on the end of its narrow stalk. A member of the lily family (Liliaceae), this plant is found in moist acidic woods. Large numbers of this plant are found in Spring in Parfrey's Glen, Wisconsin's first State Natural Area, near Barraboo. From 35mm negative.
