Ancient sandstone walls and mossy conglomerates frame the new season's leaves in the upper reach of Parfrey's Glen. This gorgeous canyon stays cool and moist through spring and summer, nurturing the moss and ferns, and an assortment of plants and trees commonly not found in southern Wisconsin.
